Round enemies from the puzzle platformer Braid.
These donut-based goodies came from the indie game Braid. The game is populated by these round enemies, which I’ve referred to as “waddling heads.” I’ve heard of these things called “Goombas” as well.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter, plus a few tablespoons
3 cups crispy rice cereal
Donut holes
Junior Mints
Black food gel
Combine the sugar and the syrup in a pan.

Heat the mixture and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Remove from heat and mix in the peanut butter.
Pour the crispy rice cereal into a large bowl and add the sugary peanut butter mixture.
You’ll want the mixture to be loose and not clump together.

Take a donut hole and dab some peanut butter around the top half and the back of the noggin.
Take some of the coated rice cereal and pat onto the noggin to create the spiky hair.
Repeat for all donut holes.
Draw the eyes, big snoot, and mouth onto the donut holes with the black gel.
Dab the peanut butter onto two Junior Mints and press onto the bottom of the donut hole to create the feet.

Makes enough for a dozen waddling heads (or goombas.)
